Creators of Trust - the Human Face of Globalization
Michael Smith is the author of Trust and Integrity in the Global Economy - Stories of people making a difference. The book gives colourful accounts of business and social entrepreneurs, those working in the public sector, farmers, educators and campaigners who are determined to change things in the communities and countries where they serve. He will speak about their commitment and motivations, in the context of the challenges facing us all in the 21st century. This forum, which is being held in association with Caux Initiatives for Business, will mark the UK launch of his new book. Some of those whose stories are told in the book will take part. A former editor of For A Change magazine, Smith is a freelance journalist and author working with Initiatives of Change.
