UK Council of Management
The Council of Management are the Trustees of the charity, with legal responsibility for all its activities and for the best use of its resources. They are all volunteers and a mixture of people who have given many years of work without salary to Initiatives of Change and others who are in various professions. No Trustees are allowed to be paid for their work but can claim expenses.

The Trustees are answerable to The Association of The Oxford Group and to the UK Charity Commission. Their role is not as a management board, nor even a leadership group, though they may at times offer leadership if the situation demands it. But they are responsible to see that the activities of IofC-UK are well led and managed. One of their key roles is to approve a budget before the end of each year, which sets an outline for what IofC-UK will do in the following year by determining how much money will be spent on which activities. They are responsible to make a report each year and send full audited accounts to the Charity Commission.

Current members of the Council of Management are (September 2006):-
Mrs Elisabeth Tooms (Chair)
Dr Sheila Andren (Deputy Chair)
Dr Philip Boobbyer
Revd Anthony Craig
Mrs Angela Elliott
Mr Chris Evans
